Our Story

SleighTalk was born from a simple question: What if children could actually talk to Santa?

As parents ourselves, we remember the magic of writing letters to Santa and waiting for a reply. But today, children are growing up with Alexa, Siri, and ChatGPT—they expect technology to respond. We saw an opportunity to blend timeless Christmas tradition with modern AI to create something truly magical.

Using state-of-the-art voice AI from ElevenLabs and OpenAI's language models, we've created a Santa that sounds warm, remembers conversations, and responds with genuine wisdom—all while being completely safe for children ages 3-12.

We built SleighTalk with the same care we'd want for our own families: comprehensive parental controls, COPPA compliance, content moderation on every conversation, and full transparency in our parent dashboard.

COPPA Compliant & Family Safe

We take child safety seriously. SleighTalk is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and follows industry best practices for children's apps.

Parental Consent RequiredParents create the account with Google or Apple sign-in and give explicit consent during setup before any conversations can begin.
Data ProtectionTranscripts are deleted after 30 days by default, and you can set 0-90 days yourself. No ads, and we never sell or share children's data — the services we rely on to run the app are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Full TransparencyParents read every conversation transcript word for word, and see every wishlist item, in real-time.
Time LimitsCalls are capped at 10 minutes each, with up to 2 or 5 calls a day depending on your plan, to encourage healthy usage.
AI Safety MonitoringOpenAI content moderation monitors every message as the conversation happens, and repeated issues end the call.
Age AppropriateSpecifically designed for children ages 3-12 with age-appropriate language and topics.
