Complete Account Removal
When you delete your account, we'll permanently remove all data associated with your SleighTalk account within 30 days. This includes your parent profile, all child profiles, conversations, and wish lists.
This Action Cannot Be Undone
Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You'll need to create a new account if you want to use SleighTalk again.
What Gets Deleted

- Parent account: Email address, display name, account settings
- Authentication data: Login credentials and security settings
- Child profiles: All child information (names, ages, interests, avatars)
- Conversation history: All voice conversation transcripts and summaries
- Wish list items: All saved products and preferences
- Subscription information: Payment records and subscription history
- Achievement data: Ornaments, badges, and progress tracking
- Settings and preferences: All customizations and user preferences
Deletion Timeline
- Immediately: Account is deactivated and access is revoked
- Within 7 days: All personal data is deleted from primary database
- Within 30 days: All backups and redundant copies are purged
Data We May Retain
- Anonymized analytics: General usage statistics with no identifying information
- Legal obligations: We may retain records for up to 7 years if required by law (e.g., tax, fraud investigation)
- Payment records: Transaction history for compliance (no card details) - 7 years
- Support tickets: Email correspondence with support team (only if you request to keep)
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Delete Through the App (Easiest)
- Open the SleighTalk app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select Account
- Scroll to bottom and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion (you'll be asked to verify)
- Your account will be immediately deactivated
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to our support team with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include the following in your email:
- Your email address: The email used for your SleighTalk account
- Confirmation: Statement that you understand your account will be permanently deleted
- Reason (optional): If you'd like to tell us why you're leaving
Method 3: Web Form (Alternative)
Fill out the form below and we'll process your account deletion:
What Happens Next
- Immediate: Your account access is revoked - you can no longer log in
- Within 24 hours: We'll acknowledge your deletion request via email
- Within 7 days: All your personal data is deleted from our primary database
- Within 30 days: All backups are purged and deletion is complete
- Final confirmation: We'll send you a final email confirming deletion is complete
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent. All your data is irreversibly deleted. You can create a new account if you wish to use SleighTalk again.
What if I delete the app - does that delete my account?
No. Deleting the app only removes it from your device. Your account and all data remain on our servers. You must explicitly request account deletion through one of the methods above.
Will my children's data be deleted too?
Yes. When you delete your parent account, all associated child profiles and their data are also deleted permanently.
What happens to my payment information?
Your subscription is immediately cancelled and your payment information is deleted. We may retain transaction records for legal/tax purposes (up to 7 years) as required by law, but these are anonymized and not tied to your identity.
How long does the entire deletion process take?
Your account is deactivated immediately. Complete deletion from all systems (including backups) takes up to 30 days. We'll send you a final confirmation email when everything is done.
